Nanit Home is Here

The Nanit Smart Baby Monitor just leveled up with this companion screen for at-home viewing. The Nanit Home 8” Display transforms the baby monitor parents love most.

At Nanit, we spend all day innovating new ways to improve the parenting experience, starting from the moment babies are born. That’s what got us to the Nanit Smart Baby Monitor, the most advanced tool in its category—not to mention the most-loved baby monitor and app among parents (especially first-timers).

But we didn’t stop there. Seamless on-the-go monitoring now comes with the perfect at-home companion.

In addition to having an all-in-one nursery control center accessible from anywhere on your smartphone or tablet, there’s also comfort in having a dedicated screen for hassle-free monitoring at home.

The Nanit Home 8” Display helps transform the baby monitor parents trust most into the smartest baby monitor system, one that’s constantly adapting to your evolving needs.

What is the Nanit Home Display?

As the newest extension of the smart monitoring experience, the Nanit Home 8” Display is a dedicated screen that seamlessly livestreams the HD views captured by the Nanit Smart Baby Monitor, on a screen you can easily move from room to room. When it’s time for bed, night mode ensures the screen won’t disrupt any of your very precious sleep. You can also select background audio only and customize real-time notifications—just like you can from the app!

Who is Nanit Home made for?

The short answer? You. Nanit Home was designed with parents in mind, but also offers every caregiver real-time views of the nursery—whether grandma and grandpa are on duty, or you have secured your favorite babysitter for date night.

Get started with the Home Display

First things, first: Make sure your Nanit Pro Baby Monitor is set up and  connected to the app. You can’t stream those adorable views on the Nanit Home without our best-in-class camera.

Whether you’re brand new to Nanit, or have been livestreaming cute views for years, setting up your Home Display screen is easy:

  1. Follow the setup steps for your Home Display and link the device to your Nanit profile
  2. Customize your notification settings, including volume and brightness
  3. Navigate to the Home Tab for nursery livestreams
  4. Charge up the device and take it from room to room!

Extra screen, extra perks

Nanit parents already know: Our suite of smart features are the best. Nanit Home includes many of the features you already love (with more on the way!). Here are some of our favorites:

  • 1080p HD video + Two-way audio for crystal-clear views and the ability to soothe baby during nights or naps (without having to get up from the couch)

  • Split Screen capability tracks two cameras at once—so you’ll never have to play favorites

  • Live sleep status overviews give you an updated summary of what’s happening in the crib (e.g. Hey Mom, I fell asleep 15 minutes ago)

  • Breathing Motion Monitoring to gently track the rise and fall of your baby’s chest, without relying on wires or sensors

  • Real-time notifications like cry, cough, sound, and motion detection, keep you updated the minute your baby needs you

  • Active + Inactive modes let you switch to a screen saver when the Nanit Home is not in use, with an option to play ambient nature sounds

This list is just the beginning. Sign up for our mailing list and be the first to know when new Home Display features are released.
