Sleep Research Society Foundation Grant

Nanit and the Sleep Research Society Foundation are excited to introduce the Nanit Sleep Research Grant. Nanit’s auto-videosomnography solution captures high-quality pediatric sleep data in the home environment and with no need for wearables or sensors, allowing access to truly ecological sleep data. In addition, thanks to Nanit's extensive userbase, investigators can survey Nanit parents and have the ability to compare objective Nanit sleep metrics with parent-reported measures, allowing investigations to be conducted quickly and at scale.

This grant will support a cross-sectional research study designed to use Nanit sleep metrics and parent report surveys of children between the ages of 4 and 24 months. The research project should aim to enhance our understanding of upstream determinants of optimal sleep health in infancy and early childhood, or to help to uncover the complex relationship between infant and parent sleep health and optimal physical and mental health for the whole family.
