Nanit x Headspace Sleep Study


Thank you for your interest in the Nanit x Headspace sleep study! We're exploring how the Headspace Finding Your Best Sleep Program can help new parents get better sleep. This program is self-guided within the Headspace app and combines mindfulness with proven sleep techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I). Your participation is fully remote and can be completed when it works best for your schedule.Β 


What you’ll do in the study:

  • Complete 3 surveys and 3 week-long sleep diaries when the study starts, after you finish the Headspace Finding Your Best Sleep Program, and 3 months after completing the program.Β 
  • Use the Headspace Finding Your Best Sleep Program for one month.Β The program has 18 sessions, with each session taking just 5-10 minutes. You will complete the program over one month and it will teach you about your sleep, helping you build habits to fall asleep relaxed and wake up refreshed.
  • You'll also get access to the full Headspace content libraryΒ and can use any of the other meditations or sleep content you like.
  • You may be a great fit for this study if you are:Β 
    • A first-time parent with a baby 4–12 months old
    • Struggling with sleep
    • Based in the US

What will I get for participating in the study?Β 

You will receive a one-year Headspace membership if you complete the study schedule. This includes full access to all of Headspace’s science-backed meditation, mindfulness, and sleep content, plus Ebb, Headspace’s empathetic AI companion.Β Β
