Sleep. There’s a reason it’s such a buzz word in the parenting world, a constant topic of conversation at the dinner table, the playground, the pediatrician’s office, the coffee shop, the coffee drive-through, the coffee aisle at the supermarket… you get the picture.

It’s because sleep matters. Not just for your little one, but for you too. It energizes everything from play to creativity to inside jokes to exploration to bonding time to, well, life. Yet, families aren’t getting nearly enough of the good stuff. Three out of every 10 parents say their kids have problems sleeping at night. And 100% of parents face the challenge of putting their children to sleep. In fact, on average, moms and dads lose 44 days of sleep during baby’s first year alone. Forty-four days! It’s no wonder many parents feel more zombie than human, doing their best to make it from one task to the next without anyone noticing they’re really just trying to nap with their eyes open.

At Nanit, we looked at those statistics and realized there’s got to be a better way. And that better way starts with baby (because we all know if baby sleeps better, everyone sleeps better). So we issued ourselves a pretty big challenge: improve, revolutionize and simplify the way babies sleep. We know, we know, it seems like an impossible dream, the stuff of Greek myths and kindergarten story time.

But we’re happy to report that we’ve done it. In one week, we’ll unveil innovative technology that will fundamentally change baby’s sleep for the good of everyone in the family. We can’t wait to tell you more.
